The home is extremely well-situated, close to the A5 highway to Lisbon, in a safe, quiet neighborhood.

A park with a duck pond and a smaller dog park wraps around the housing complex. The park is protected as there are vulnerable species (owls and fire salamanders) in the park. No housing development can be built on this land.

Less than 5 minutes away by car is a small shopping complex with a supermarket, gym, furniture store, electronics store, para-pharmacy, and McDonald’s. There is an international foods store a further 3-4 minutes down the road. Larger shopping complexes, restaurants, pharmacies, hospitals, and schools are all in a radius of about 5-10 minutes, and international schools about 15 minutes away.

The beach is about 6-7 minutes away by car, as is the train station. There is a bus stop 3 minutes walk from the house, and buses are free of charge for residents. The charming, cobble-stoned resort town of Cascais is also about 10-12 minutes away by car.
